Somatic Embodiment Movement Flow
Somatic Embodiment is a profound and beautiful practice of bringing awareness to your body; to gain a greater sense of self and wholeness.Together, we promote creating space to turn inward and tune into both the mind and the physical sensations of your body. The practice is to follow what feels natural in your body. To move at your own pace and rhythm. This practice enables you to connect with your body. To honor your emotions. And to awaken your spirit.
Through this practice, our brain and body are more connected and integrated. A transformative method for making the unconscious conscious, and allowing the unknown parts of ourself to be seen and known. This journey is made through the body; using breath, movement, and awareness to come closer to ourselves, and experience deep inner healing. In this practice, we use movement as the access point to gain insight to communicate to the body’s natural intelligence, we focus on internal experience of the movement rather than the external appearance or result of the movement.
This is a free form full body inquiry that is guided by where we are in the moment, what we are feeling and alive within us.
