What is Body-Oriented Healing?

Body-Oriented Healing (BOH) is a holistic approach that focuses on the integration of Body, Mind and Spirit through Dance, Movement, Embodiment and Psychospiritual Coaching as the primary mediums for the therapeutic process. Sessions include trauma education, somatic understanding and application of Yoga philosophy.

Each session is designed and personalized to the individuals who need to improve their overall physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. BOH gives us the ability to understand what is guiding our thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviors.

This is a self- empowering and an experiential practice to facilitate healing in the person on all levels.

Together, we focus on transcending limiting thoughts, attitudes, behaviors and beliefs about the Self that keeps us prisoners to our own mind. We will work to change these patterns that are held in our cognitive processes and how these processes relate to the way we behave, as a way of dealing with trauma, mental and emotional problems.

My goal is to restore balance, trust and faith to deepen your presence, awareness and connection to yourself. When we are in alignment we are able to know ourselves more fully. We are more easily moved to embrace the opportunity for change, growth and love.

It’s time to reclaim parts of ourselves that’s been lost to regain our sense of freedom to be in our TRUTH, our POWER and to shine our LIGHT.
